Ronshende Whittington-Program Director

Ronshende Whittington has worked in the healthcare field for over 17 years. She started off as a nursing assistant, then continued to become an LPN and shortly after an RN. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She is currently at Walden University in the PMHNP program. Ronshende has worked in many areas of nursing including long-term care, acute care, home health care, hospice care, and assisted living. Ronshende has worked with individuals with substance use disorders as well as individuals with co-occurring disorders in variety of settings from inpatient detox, residential treatment, transitional and half-way housing and now currently medication assisted treatment in the outpatient setting for the last six years. She has a true passion to provide excellent and efficient care to the patients that come in for treatment services here at Addiction Medical Facility.
